Cotton Linters Pulp for Hand Papermaking

Create smooth, strong, and beautifully white handmade paper with this cotton linters pulp, a high-quality papermaking fiber made from the short fibers left on cotton seeds after the longer textile fibers have been removed through ginning.

The cotton linters pulp we supply is pre-processed and naturally pure white, making it ideal for handmade paper, paper casting, paper sculpture, and other creative fiber art projects.

Cotton linters can be used on their own or mixed with other fibers. For sheet forming, they can be combined with abaca pulp to add strength, or blended with recycled paper pulp to improve body, texture, and durability. Cotton linters are especially well known for paper casting, as they can capture fine details beautifully.

How to Use

Cut the dry pulp sheets into smaller pieces and soak them in water until softened. Once soaked, the pulp can be processed easily in a kitchen blender or another suitable mixer before sheet forming or casting.
